As we continue monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our customers, Extra Room Self Storage is making changes to give you continued access to the storage you need, with updated guidelines to add extra layers of protection. We are pleased to announce contactless storage options that protect you during the pandemic. Self-storage is considered an essential business, and our storage locations remain in operation, but we are continuing to add protections to keep you as safe as possible. Current safety measures we have implemented include:
In addition, we have now increased our contactless options to allow you to manage your account and access your storage without physical interaction with our teams.
One of the ways we are protecting you is through implementing new technology to save you time and limit your in-person contact with our team. We have opened an online storage rental process that lets you find your unit and sign your lease digitally. You can reserve your unit, present your ID, and prepare to start using your unit, all without visiting our office. Once the reservation is done, we will put your lock and key in the storage unit to await your arrival.
